Metro Line 8 is an Airport (CSMIA) to Airport (NMIA) Connectivity connecting Mumbai and Navi Mumbai through a Metro Line Route. This route is also called as the Golden Line. Currently, road travel between the two airports can take 75 to 120 + minutes, depending on traffic conditions. The new metro aims to bring this down to ~30–35 minutes.
